What part(s) of the following do people apparently NOT get when I post this??...

You will find this one my posts that I add my Linky Tools link up button to. And that is only maybe (now) twice a week to run in time with For The Love Of Blogs as to give them more exposure and to further help out my fellow bloggers from that community and other places within the blogosphere.
I don't "have to" add the tool to any of my blogs. I do it because I want to and I like helping others to gain more readers. Not just myself.
Thanks to "link and run" types of "users and abusers" of the link up ability to my page, I removed it. Then decided to bring it back here and there. Then, I felt that I wanted to help Vic and Ashley at FLOB by also doing a link up capability on the posts I run to show case them and two of their blog hops I'm involved with.
So now, I will say it this way from now on in ALL FUTURE blog hop posts that I provide a link up tool for others to add to...

Now, do you all think that THIS will make it clear? Especially if you have actually READ FTLOB's "rules" about blog hopping and leaving comments on other's blogs. They also *DO NOT CONDONE* copy/paste comments or the "followed you/follow me back" comments and also feel it is TACKY as well as RUDE.
If these things keep happening on my blog, then I will put an END TO PROVIDING a link up/blog hop on my blog page.

This is cracking me up. We keep saying it over and over at FTLOB too and people keep asking for a follow over there too! FTLOB is not even following people, it's a community. Ahh oh well. Thanks for helping to promote the site, it's really Vic's baby, she's the genius behind it. :)

Gosh! Some people, huh? I get a lot of the following you/follow me comments too. At first, I was just like "feel free to join the discussions, we won't bite!" Now, I'm ready to start fighting back too.
I don't mind if people ask me to follow them back, I'm a big girl and can make my own decision, buit I don't like it if that person has completely ignored what my blog was even about that day. I spend a lot of time on my posts, trying to provoke discussion, and when someone comes on and just skips that, it really bruises my insides.
So, feeling your pain and hoping to help you do something about it. I am planning a post on it soon. I'll let you know when I get it up.

Couldn't agree more! Especially when people take one little comment out of your post and say something about it so you KNOW they didn't read anything else, just tried to sound like they did. Grrr. Annoys the hell outta me.

I'm a new follower, FOLLOW ME RIGHT BACK...right this effing instant....bahahaha....people are crazy and rude....gotta just delete them and laugh about how silly they look! They usually have barely any followers...people just don't like that attitude and obviously they didn't read a thing on FTLOB.....Ignore them and still participate...we love ya:) xoxo

Exactly!! I so agree with you on this. I think that is the part about this whole thing that really chaps my hide.

I'm so over the whole "follow me back" blog hop mentality. Why can't blog hops be places where you can check out other blogs and decide whether or not you are interested in following and visa versa? I want people to want to read my blog not just add a notch to my belt per se. Thank you for saying what I think everything I check my comments. XOXO
Klove, you are quite welcome...I don't write just to have the "follow" game played. And I want those that REALLY want to READ my content and converse with me on a "personal" level. Not with a robot mentality of sorts.
I completely agree with you, most of the time I won't even consider following back if the comment is pushy and completely disregards my post. I am definitely not here to ask you to follow me because you already chose to do that. However, now that I have passed by and "met" you, I have decided to follow you back. Nice to meet you. :)
