ACtually they are able to repeal that particular law because of the way in which it was obtained. And yeah we can repela federal law since it is supposed to be agreed upon byt hte majority of the voters and HAD the voters been listened to and their reps done what we elecetedd them to do it would not have gotten pushed through. The only reason he tried to pull this was cause he knows in NOvember he has lost his majority vote in the House and Senate..
Obama stated several times that he doesn't really care about getting a second term in office. He wanted to get the ball rolling with getting the Troops home and getting Health Care to be available to ALL citizens.
Not everyone will agree with everything in ANY form of Legislation. But we have to start somewhere. It can be tweaked and hashed out over time.
At least now my Dad can have some of his financial burden lifted, due to high medication costs for his "expensive" medical conditions.
