What a ride this past weekend has been. Between dealing with a death in the family, Japan being rocked (literally) to its knees and everything else in between, you would honestly think that Armageddon has finally started to rear its head.
First the initial earthquake, then the earthquake-provided tsunami, then aftershocks that are as big almost as the initial quake, now TWO Nuclear Power Plant explosions.
Thanks for a FaceBook friend posting the following, I can now (clearly) see the signs of impeding warning that is upon us globally.
"Sept 11 (NY), Jan 11 (Haiti), March 11 (Japan)...Luke 21:10-11 : "Nation will rise against nation, & kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from Heaven.". Jesus says, For behold I come quickly, (so...ask yourself are we ready?)."
Until now, I didn't really pay much attention. But look at this pattern...Three sets of "11" on the day's dates. Plus one of them was 2001, another also was in 2011. Too many ones for my head to wrap around.
Makes what I had posted in my ParanorMel blog about the Horseman of the Apocalypse video seem more real than "shopped or cropped".
To read about the video from MSNBC that *supposedly* caught the ghostly figure of one of the Bible's Four Horsemen during a nighttime riot in Cairo, Egypt, CLICK HERE.
Pretty eerie stuff if you ask me. Sure I'm still on the proverbial fence as to the validity of the piece. If I wasn't in the technologically advanced age, then I say that that is some cause for worry.
On the flip side of the argument though, if indeed someone did in fact catch the horseman REALLY riding through, fulfilling Biblical Prophesy for our generation's time, then my friends, some of us are in some deep shit. And some of us are about to be called home.
One of my favorite novel series to read is the Left Behind books. It's a series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins. The books speak about topics of Christian dispensationalist End Times: pretribulation, premillennial, Christian eschatological viewpoint of the end of the world.
Pretty fascinating and capturing stuff, if you ask me.
Just too much is happening within the world on a global scale to NOT really take a deeper look in to why all of these "natural disasters" are taking place as well as other life-taking matters (terrorist attacks, wars, severe famine and pestilence). When you think about it all, and put one and one together, it honestly makes you see things in a much bigger picture being interwoven like a spider's web of destruction.
A blog about my life as a Stay-At-Home Mom, and other aspects of it. As well as my thoughts/feelings on different subjects.
My work is ORIGINAL...Don't be a thief.

Blog Hop Linky Tool On My Page... BE SURE TO READ ME!!
I'm sorry, but I have closed up the current Linky Tool Blog Hop linking area. I started seeing that most of those that were linking up to my page were not even "reading" my stuff. Let alone following the blog, or even leaving a note of ANY kind.
And I did in fact give fair warning in a previous post (refer to Blog Hop Tool Rules) that in the event that something like this happened, what the consequences would be.
If that makes me a mean and/or bitchy blogger, then so be it. I am not a "tool" for others to gain by. I wouldn't allow this on any of my other sites, or in my life. So know it certainly won't be tolerated here.
I'd opened an on-going "Blog Hop" to HELP other bloggers. Not to be taken advantage of.
So, from here on out, at my discretion, and *WITHOUT* prior notice, I will open the Hopping Tool again as I feel ready to do so.

RE: My New Linky Tool (rules)
Yes! I finally figured it out. I now have a "Blog Hopping" link-up capability for both my blogs.
Now, readers can leave their blog link-ups on my page when they stop by. But!!..Yes, another 'but'. Sorry, gotta do this though.
There WILL be some ground rules for linking with my blog. This way it's fair for everyone.
1)*I don't want my page to be "used" and "abused".* In other words if you link your blog to my page, then be sure to leave a comment on the post you had read.
2)*Be sure to leave a comment on any others you read as well.* I'm doing this to not only make more traffic for my blog, but to also help out my fellow bloggers as well.
3)*For respectfulness among the masses, do *not* say "Please follow me back".* Personally, I find it tacky and disrespectful. If readers like your content, they WILL follow without your "begging". In fact, I did touch on this last week. Blog Hop Do's/Don'ts...
If there is apparent "abuse" of the link (as in link up, but don't say anything about reading my work), then I MAY REMOVE IT. And then, I may only let others link up say on my Sunday Sunrise meme/carnival posts.
Now, with all of that said, be on the lookout for another post later today of a memory brought back by a kid on the radio and a "kids say the darnedest things/chew it over with Twix moment".

Sunrise Sunday (Join in the positivity!)
Each week, I will have a picture of a different sunrise at the top of the page. Underneath, I will state the positives from the previous week, and the positives that are to come in the week ahead. NOTHING NEGATIVE will be allowed in the post.
If you wish to participate, find a sunrise picture and follow the directions. And be sure to link THIS POST with your post as well, for your readers to look at, and see how it all works as well. Each of my posts will include the "rules" and how to post a Sunday Sunrise.
For this week, I am looking forward to Hayley's birthday party (today). She turned 11 on Thursday, but I had to do the party today due to school schedule, my husband's work schedule, and a prior family obligation.
Also, I am once again pulling a full day at school on Wednesday. Between helping with Art Class, doing things for Friday stuff, seeing as we (the kids) have Friday off, and also helping with a Staff Luncheon (for Teacher Appreciation).
Then, Thanksgiving is just around the bend. Not even a week to go and I can already smell the rolls, pies, turkey and all the other goodies that will be slammed in to my mouth. YUMMMM...Round 2, here I come!

Sunrise Sunday
It's once more the beginning of a new week. At least according to my husband's company work-week schedule.
I'm hoping that this new meme/carnival I'm trying to start and establish will be welcomed with open arms, is followed, and has other bloggers participating. I want more POSITIVITY. Not just in my blog, to see in other's blogs or on other pages. But also within my own life. So, I'm hoping that by doing Sunday Sunrise each week, that I will be able to clearly see the new beginnings of each week in a positive light and also see the positives in my life.

*If anyone can make blog buttons, PLEASE help me out and make one for me to include as a grab button...It would be greatly appreciated!*
Here goes the launch! (And the only one with the picture this far down the post.)
Last week, I had been able to clear up (once again) a misunderstanding for my son's SSI pay without wishing to take someone's head off.
Also, I felt good and proud of myself on Friday for the fact that I was able to get everything, but one example project, completed on my "to do" list in the Kindergarten class that I work in for volunteer time at school.
For this coming week, I look forward to one-on-one time with the two older of my children and being able to go on trips with them. One being Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest. The other, another trip to Jamestown Settlement in Williamsburg.
I'm also gearing up for the first of two birthday parties, that will be back-to-back in two separate weekends.
And I'm looking forward to a full week of seeing "my" kids at school for various upcoming functions. I'm helping with a Staff Breakfast for Teacher Appreciation Week, then also going on the trips, and am planning on helping in class on Thursday (seeing as I won't be there Friday).
*Want to spread some positivity? If you like this new meme/carnival, then LINK IT UP and share it with others and feel free to snowball the fun and positivity.*

Cell Phones In School. Should The Ban Be Lifted?
I think for today's post, being that it is nearing that time of the year once more, I shall touch on a subject that could become a hot button topic of debate.
Cell phone usage in schools by students.
Our city school system is thinking of lifting the ban on students from carrying cell phones on their person, while on the school's grounds.
Read about LIFTING BAN ON CELLS here.
Personally, I think that the ban SHOULD be lifted. Superintendent, Dr. McKendrick is correct, as is Heritage High's Principal. There are too many students in today's world that carry cell phones. And it can be quite time consuming to pull each offender in to the Principal's office and confiscate the phones. They average 15 to 20 per day!
Time could be much more well-spent on other areas of running the schools. Like on bullying, creating a positive learning environment, and ensuring everyone's safety. As well as ensuring that the students are getting everything that they can from their classes.
Personally, I have no problems with High School, or even Middle (Junior) High School students carrying cell phones on their person. As long as the usage is before school starts, during lunch break, and after school's last bell rings.
If the student is caught using the phone (via texting or talking) while switching classes, during class, or any other time not deemed appropriate (say during a field trip), then confiscate the item until after school for the remainder of that day.
Then, if a secondary offense occurs with the phone, then confiscate to the parent. If a third offense with the phone happens, then I feel that the school has a right to confiscate and keep the phone until the end of the school year.
We live in a high-tech age more so now than ever before. Our children are using things that were mere dreams when our parents, and even we were growing up in our generation.
Computers for the home didn't even come out until the 1980's. Then, came the message recorder for phones, cordless phones, CD Players, and then, in the early to mid 1990's, finally came the first cell phone. And that has gotten smaller, sleeker, and more 'hide-able' since it's inception in to our world of communication options.
So, with that said, what are YOUR thoughts about kids in High School (or even Middle School) carrying Cell Phones in their backpacks, along with their books and pencils? Yay or nay? Why so?

Oops! I did it again (and all cuz of Angel).
I said I wouldn't go back. I didn't really care for it. It was too "plain" and boring to me. Maybe because I threw myself in to the lion's den (as usually is the case). And after not going there for MONTHS now, I have reverted and retracted.
Yes people, I am once again a part of the BlogFrog blogging site community. And I have now prettied up my page, added it's FIRST discussion post (go answer damn it! I'm lost).
I've gotten now, eight followers (stalkers), and I am following nine (being watched over scrupulously).
So far, I am doing okay, just trying to get the old sea legs up and moving over there. I did place up two widgets here on my page. One for joining my community, and one to track the stalkers..er, I mean visitors.
So, now that Angel convinced me (twisted my arm) to rejoin BlogFrog, I am trying to get people to join me there as well. Like I don't do enough on the interwebz already!
If you wish to willingly (as in I won't drag you with me kicking and screaming...unless you LIKE that kind of thing) come see me over at BlogFrog, then CLICK THIS BIOTCH and say hi and join in the fun.
So, I hope to see you there. Seeing as I am now officially bored and want to converse with peeps.

New FACEBOOK *group* for Blogger bloggers.
Howdy everyone! I hope that your TGIF is a fab one this morning. It's gonna be a scorcher in my area, so it's certainly A/C weather!
Just a bit ago, I had started a NEW group over at Facebook for us Blogger blog authors. It's aptly named 'Blogger Blog Buddies Connections'.
Here is the description in regards to the new group...
"If you are a Blogger Blog Site author, and you wish to connect with other Blogger users/writers, then come on in!
Share your blog entries, find new blogs to follow, gain new readers/followers, give tips and help one another with the technical aspects of Blogger.
Best of all, gain new friends!"
But!! Yes, there is a 'but' in here. There IS a small clause which happens to be in the group's Recent News section, and it reads as follows...
"Be sure to add a small description about your post link in the post's status area.
Also, WARN OTHERS if there is adult-content within your post.
***ALL SUBJECT MATTER*** is excepted here. But we will not permit 'bashing' one another's religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality inside the group's walls.
If you wish to do so within YOUR BLOG posts, then that is on you. But no attacking within the group. And please REFRAIN from posting *THOSE TYPES* of blog posts within the group. "
So, now that you get the gist of what Blogger Blog Buddies Connections is all about, and you feel it's the 'fit' for you and your blog, then feel free, as a FACEBOOK member, to come join us.

Pour Your Heart Out Wednesday w/Shell (Get out the tissues! It's a tear-jerker.)

It's Wednesday, and it's anything that YOU consider pouring your heart out about today, as well. There isn't ever a theme or topic that you have to blog about- it's completely a personal thing. If you wish to participate, please feel free to click on the POUR YOUR HEART OUT button above and you will get all the info on this carnival that you need.
Seeing what Angel is going through, with her mom having a heart attack and Angel's sheer will to be "the rock", had me going back through time. To twenty years ago in to my past (will be 21 in October).
To this day, I remember waking up to my dad yelling at my mom to "wake up" over and over at six in the morning, along with that loud banging noise he kept making on the coffee table beside her.
When I had gotten up and went to the living room, I saw my mother sitting there. But it wasn't her. By that time that damage was done and it was too late. She sat in the chair of her's for HOURS before the discovery by my father. She was in and out of conscientious, you had to yell at her for her to hear you, she wasn't able to speak or move one side of her body. Hours later, after she was taken to the hospital, I sat in her chair to get ready for the day, only to realized she lost her ability to hold urine, being I sat in pee that SOAKED the chair.
Later on in the day, I found out that my forty-three-year-old mother suffered a massive stroke and survived it.
To have to see her in the hospital, and then the Rehab/Nursing Home Center crushed me. I was only twelve years old at the time. Later in life, I did find out she tried to starve herself to death, being she didn't want to live that way. She felt like she was a burden to both myself and my father. Near the end she had to be trached (a tube placed in her throat to help her breath) thanks to the paralysis harming her lungs, as well as STILL near the end, battling lung infections.
For all the times that I went to see her, before leaving I always told her "see you later". And she was in the hospital for twenty-eight days (Rehab Center, actually).
But on that last Saturday, which was her last, full day of life, I told her, with no one else around that it was "okay to go home". I gave her the RIGHT to die. I gave her the PERMISSION she seeked from my father. When I did, I let her know we (Dad and I) would be okay and that I understood.
Under that, though, in my mind I could hear myself getting angry. I did NOT want her to leave me. Not yet. And I resented my father, who must not have cared (in my mind) enough to let her go and be in peace. Why ME? I was only twelve. A child. And I had to do some VERY grown-up things at that time of my life. Both with her in the hospitals and after her death.
What did she do to deserve her fate? And what did I do to have to live my life without my mother, and see her slowly rot away for a month, and could do NOTHING for her, but release her.
As I have gotten older, I have learned some valuable lessons. Starting back twenty years ago, as I loved my mother the best that I could for that last month, before I actually of all the times, on her last day of life said "good-bye, Mom", instead of "see you later".
1) Life will NEVER be fair to you.
2) We all will lose those that we love and cherish in this life. No way around that.
3) Be strong. But learn to let it go and stop being other's rocks, to take time for YOU.
4) We will always have "WHY?" moments. And not all of them will have an answer.
5) Yes, the pain of loss does go away. But NEVER, EVER completely. A piece of your heart will ALWAYS hurt and yearn.
6) Timing is not always on our side. Feel blessed when it is, and ask for courage and strength to walk through the fire when it isn't.
7) It's okay to be angry and/or sad. Even twenty years later.
8) Doctors are not God. They can only do so much. After that it's up to the patient and up to God what happens from there. There is nothing you can do about it.
9) Life's lemmons sometimes stay sour, no matter how much sugar you add. You still have to drink it.
10) Trials by fire don't ALWAYS leave you burned at the stake. Good can come from tragedy. Like a new lease on your life and three kids, with a wonderful husband to boot.

ParanorMel...Can you DIG it?
What in the world does a girl have to do to get her blog noticed these days? Sheesh!
I've got a secondary blog around here that talks of shadows, voices, mists, things seen from the corner of your eye, and MUCH more.
If you KNOW me, you will know that I am in to the Paranormal. Primarily hauntings and ghosts/spirits/apparitions.
Over at ParanorMel, I talk (from time to time) of my own PERSONAL experiences with the Supernatural and the Unexplained. Plus, I find cool videos, post about different definitions in regards to hauntings, spirits, and the like.
If you are in to that sort of subject, or you have had your own experiences, feel free to hop on over and follow me. You can...
Ask questions.
Tell YOUR story.
Request subjects to be covered/featured.
Know that you are NOT alone.
Sounds good enough to try, you said? Then click on over to ParanorMel and jump right on in to the thick of things.
As an added bonus, ParanorMel also has a FACEBOOK Fan/Like Page of the same name. Feel free to join us there, too.
It's interactive and I LOVE hearing from you, my readers, and those that are interested in hauntings and ghosts. On BOTH pages.

I found a new home! Moms of TWEENS and of TEENS unite.
I have been with the site for now almost four months now. It's okay. Not as spiffy as FaceBook (or even CafeMom). But it's cute. And it's not just for *any* mom. It's for those of us going gray and bald (some of us at the SAME TIME!) due to having 'tweens' or teens.
It's aptly named Momster. And believe me, some of us can (and usually do) live up to the name! There are days where you just can't win the battle of Teenhood and you turn in to the Momster, which of course, your teen or 'tween' conveniently points out.
There, you can start or join groups, blogs, and discussions. You have your own profile page where the ONLY thing I have noted, is that you CANNOT post *current* updates like you can at FaceBook, or at CafeMom. Otherwise it is a nice site.
And *most* mothers on Momster seem to be of the more mature sect. Not the teen know-it-all's, first time moms with little babies (though some DO have younger kids, plus a teen/tween, like myself). There seems to be MUCH less distention on the forums there.
So MOTHERS of tweens and teens, if this sounds like the site to you, that you wish to join and commiserate with other moms like you, then feel free to FOLLOW ME over to MOMSTER.COM and see what it's all about. Hope to see you there...

I'm LONELY! Wanna join me and have some fun (and maybe a spook or two)?

More Information Sheds New & Disturbing Light On Killer & Her Victim.
All I can say is this....DISGUSTING!
How can ANYONE, be it a man or a *woman* do such horrific and horrendous things to a child?
Many people have already heard the story of the former Sunday School Teacher, Melissa Huckaby. She raped, tortured, and killed eight-year-old Sandra Cantu. Only to stuff the girl's lifeless body in to a suitcase and throw her in to an irrigation pond.
Now, Melissa Huckaby is trying her best to try and seemingly "get out of" and is trying to explain away her actions.
Of course, she is using the classic "I was raped as a child" and the "I had a rough childhood" excuses to try and gain sympathy.
To read more just click HERE.
I'm sorry, but I have no sympathy, nor compassion for this woman. What she had done to Sandra, who was her daughter's friend and playmate, and what she did AFTER killing the child out of guilt was nothing but showing how calculated and callous the woman TRULY is.
This is one case of Prison Without Possibility Of Parole I say I *do* like. Normally, I would say death penalty. But for some reason, I get more satisfaction in knowing that Ms. Huckaby will be forced to sit and think for the rest of her days, of the things she did to that poor, INNOCENT girl and knowing the guilt will rot her inside more so than the rotting inside a prison cell.
"Macabre", in my eyes doesn't even begin to describe the acts of torture this woman had performed against Sandra. Melissa Huckaby by all counts ranks right up there with the devil himself when it comes to evilness.

Knitting, Gays & Fundies...
Where to start?...I'm so frustrated, saddened and upset, I could spit a whole brown bag of nails.
As some of you know, I had a cousin who was more like a brother to me. He passed away many years ago, when I was fourteen. He died from complications of AIDS. And yes, he was an (openly) Gay man. But it was a tainted blood transfusion of all things that killed him. NOT from having "gay sex".
Also, in my "by-marriage" family, I now have a gay uncle, and a lesbian aunt. They both have life partners. And my aunt and her partner have two wonderful children. And they are some of the most wonderful people you could ever meet on this earth.
There is a friend that I have over at a social website named Colin. He lives in the UK with his life partner. He does BEAUTIFUL work with his gift of knitting. He was severely abused as a child. And yep. He is Gay, too! He loves showing his Lhasa Apso dogs, and is an avid blogger.
Colin as of late though, has been getting bombarded by comments over at his blog in the last several posts by Fundamental Christians. Primarily concerning his sexual lifestyle. And THEY apparently have "figured out" why Colin CHOSE to be gay.
EXCUSE ME?! I'm sorry. But by experience of having family members that are (were) gay, I can certainly say that ninety-nine percent of the GLBT population would not CHOOSE to be WHO they are. I refuse to say 'what', being that those that are G.,L.,B., or T. are still also human beings.
Who in their right mind would CHOOSE this lifestyle? Yeah, they WANT to be ridiculed, beaten, and even killed for WHO THEY LOVE and for WHO THEY ARE.
Who in this world has any rights to judge another person for who that person lays next to at night? How would YOU like to have a 'peeping tom' in YOUR bedroom?
To those that oppose same-sex relationships (and especially marriages), do you "do it" in any other position than just Missionary? You went against the Bible! Do you (MALES ONLY) ejaculate OUTSIDE of a female's vagina? You went against the Bible! Do you perform oral sex (for both genders)? You went against the Bible (and even some modern State-issued laws here in the USA)!
Now, where marriage is concerned, how are two, consenting, deeply-in-love, same-sex ADULTS ruining the "sanctity of marriage" by getting married? If you look around, us "straights" have done a bang-up job of screwing over the "sanctity" of marriage all on our own. We don't need a 'homo's' help in that department.
Hell, to be honest, gay/lesbian people have a better view and understanding of marriage than us "hetero's" do! I know more gay couples that have been together double, triple, and even quadruple the amount of time than that of their straight counterparts. Including my Aunt and my Uncle (by marriage).
So, my dear Christian Fundie readers, what do you have now to say about gays, marriage and the (non)-choice to be gay? Maybe I need to start spying in to your closets and your bedrooms. I bet I can find all kinds of skeletons and swords to use against you.
Now, if you care to read and actually get to know Colin (and see his (ART) works of knitting) then feel free to stop in on his blog page and maybe even leave him a note of encouragement...

WIMTS (What I Meant To Say) with Angel.

HAHA!! Seems that today, where the blogging world is concerned, I am....
This is (to my knowledge)my first WHAT I MEANT TO SAY post. And if you were to ever ask Angel over at http://singedwingangel.blogspot.com/ she will tell you I'm not one to sugar coat things. On MANY different subjects. And believe me when I say, some are HEAVILY laden with expletives. So, if you don't want to know what is *truly* on my mind, then I suggest you back it up and go somewhere else. Cuz my mind (at times) can be pretty mean and bitchy.
So without further ado, here we go!
What I said...
Let's see how I can correct this problem with my son's payments. < To the lady at the SSI office concerning my son's SSI Disability payments.
WIMTS.....
WTF is this shit? If I had that much money coming in to my home, I wouldn't need your damn help! My hubby would have to make almost four more damn bucks an hour to make this pay. What kind of damn math do you people use?!
What I said....
It's okay. We will get this all fixed. I have enough meds to get B through. < What I told the "Office Manager" at the doc's office while doc was on leave, and trying to fix insurance problems.
WIMTS....
Look here asswipe! My kid NEEDS his medicines. How many times shall we jack aouund and how many times you plan to play this off? You best be glad I *have* back up bottles or my kid would be screwed. Even your damn NURSE who has NOTHING to do with this shit of dealing with insurance has done a BETTER job at *YOUR* job than you obviously are. She actually GOT SOMEWHERE!!
What I said...
Emails are sent to ALL members by the group's co-founders. And they are not sent very often. If you wish to not receive them, there is truly only one way to stop those...That is to leave the group.
If you are not happy here, then no one is forcing you to stay. Are you new to the group? Because this is the FIRST time I have ever seen you post anywhere on this forum. < EXACTLY word-for-word to some punk in a TRANSPLANT SUPPORT group on FB over his smart ass post.
WIMTS....
Look you little fucktard! You have NO IDEA what it is like for ANY of us, you little asshole punk. You are not a Recipient, nor are you a Donor or Donor Family. Who gives a flying monkey's ass if you are pissed over some emails that are sent GROUP-WIDE. Remove your sorry-ass self from the group and GROW THE FUCK UP!...FYI don't call on us in the event you need an organ or tissue transplant. With your smart ass attitude and "threats" I sure as hell don't want to give a single piece of myself to a piece of shit such as yourself.
She truly is an ANGEL!...And I *highly* recommend you read her!
WOW! Two posts in ONE day from me?! That is just insane, huh? Who knew I was such a wild child. Well, okay, I'm a closet wild child.
The main reason for my writing yet another post this morning is becauuuuusssse....
I'm looking to start doing GUEST SPOTS with various Blogging Buddies. And to start out with, I'm promoting and crossing with one of my closest BFF's (on here and in REAL life).
Her name is Angel. And her mama could not have truly given her a better name. Because peeps, this woman lives up to the name (most of the time, that is). She has three kids. All boys! I think I would already be in my grave with all three of my kids being of the male species. One of them is a Special Needs person with many of the same disorders that *my* son suffers from.
She is also a very devout Christian. But not a Bible-wielding, flame-throwing kind that you may think she would be. But she can quote Scripture like you wouldn't believe!
When you get down to it, Angel is more of a lover than a fighter. But when she is angry, even the devil goes and hides. She is funny, caring, loving, and takes REAL interest in you, your blog, and takes her friendships (on and off the net) SERIOUSLY.
Sound like your kind of gal to hang with and read about? Then go on over and give her a howdy!

100th Blog Post Bash!....Come celebrate with me. Something for EVERYONE!!!!
Welcome to this post and to the celebration of this wonderful milestone. Today, I am writing my 100'th post for the blog page.
I've written about all kinds of things. From being (at times) an unhappy housewife, caring for my kids (mainly my son who is disabled), to my experiences of being a Transplant Recipient, and so many other things in between. And honestly, it's hard to choose just a few things to post links for where those writings come in to play on here.
First and foremost though, I wish to thank every single one of my readers. Here on Blogger, on Facebook, Networked Blogs, my Followers in all the above forums, as well as my "casual" readers. You each have endowed me with your wisdom, your sage advice, your support, your love, and most importantly, your friendship. Thank you to each and every one of you.
Here are some links to my favorite PAST posts...

Have fun reading some of (what I think is) my greatest works of writing! I think that from each of those, you will take something with you to carry and ponder on for a while. Now, to the picture section of the post. Here are some of my favorite pictures.
So....How about those, huh? I gave you all a little bit of everything on that selection. Shall we now move on to our next section of this 100th Post Blog Bash? Alright, then! Here we go!!
Would you care to see who's blogs I totally go gaga for? Sure, I love to read all my blog selections. But a few stand out from the crowd.
http://singedwingangel.blogspot.com/ (life through my eyes of love..laughter..christianity)
http://chasingawaysaltwater.blogspot.com/ (A MEMOIR)
http://davebuttoned.blogspot.com/ (The World According To Dave)
http://fisherofstories.blogspot.com/ (I Like To Fish)
The links above I HIGHLY recommend that you CLICK THEM! You have a wide range of thought, emotion, seriousness, as well as comedy and drama within those four choices. And lookie! I made it even without even trying. Two guys and two gals. Cool!
Now, I think that we pretty much covered everything for this festive occasion.. Oh! I almost forgot! We shall have a MUSIC VIDEO. Just because. No reason. Maybe even two of them. Why not! It's my party and I'll post what I want too, that's why.
Well ladies and gents, this ends the 100th Blog Post Bash! Thanks for attending. And thanks for all of your support, as well as your friendships. You all mean the world to me in unique ways. Here is to ANOTHER 100 POSTS!

I'm about to hit 100!
No, not in my age, you goofball! Although, at times, it certainly feels like I am climbing the Age Ladder quicker than I would care to. Having bad knees that look like I have eggs in place of cartilage, a bad back that's seen more needles than a needle cushion, hip joints that crack more than Rice Crispies and a head that likes to get migraines as big as a Hiroshima bomb blast, it's a wonder people still think I'm a teenager that is BABYSITTING my three kids. That's a whole other story for another time.
I've been posting here on Blogger for some time now. And since starting, I have had a total of (now) five blogs. But, I have cut down to two. This main one will be for pretty much everything I wish to talk about. But, I also have my latest (and last) creation, http://paranormel.blogspot.com/. ParanorMel is a blog about my views and thoughts, beliefs, as well as my experiences with the Paranormal. Mainly hauntings and ghosts/spirits. Feel free to check it out! I even have a Facebook Fan Page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/ParanorMel/121130397908207?v=photos&ref=sgm#!/pages/ParanorMel/121130397908207 for ParanorMel.
But, here is another bonus, if you are a Facebook member! I also have a Fan Page for THIS blog as well. Lemme guess. You want the link, huh? Here it is! http://www.facebook.com/pages/ParanorMel/121130397908207?v=photos&ref=sgm#!/pages/The-Not-Always-Happy-Homemaker-Diary/107802929255760.
Okay, now as for my upcoming 100th post for 'The (Not Always) Happy Homemaker Diary... I'm thinking of taking and posting a couple of links to pasts posts, that I feel was some of my best work. And maybe even show case a few picture. Plus, add in some links to my FAVORITE bloggers here at BlogSpot that I follow. Ya know, just make it a fun, blow-out bash kind of post that has a bit of everything in it.
My blogging on this site started back in November of last year. And between ALL my blogs, I have written probably closer to 200 posts, combined. But my main 'love' is THIS page right here. And this is the one that I plan on using the most. So, join me in celebrating 100 posts here at TNAHHD. Be on the lookout! You never know when my 100th entry will show up!

Hair, sleeping, and timing. It's all relevant.
How many times have you said to yourself that you are mad at YOU, because you had that rare chance to sleep in? Try having that conversation with yourself every stinking weekend!
Yep. Try as I may, I can never really (for the most part) sleep past 6:30 in the morning. Why?
Because (now) three out of seven days a week (used to be five out of seven), I was used to having my husband get up at 5:30 every work day to be on the clock at six. Hence, I would go back off to Dreamland, only to wake an hour later (okay, forty-five minutes...geez!).
Now his hours have changed and I'm scared to think that between his new, wacky schedule, and the kids that THINK that they run the roost, that I may end up pulling my (now even more gray) hair out. Now it's three days a week, be there at six. One day a week, at FOUR IN THE MORNING! And one day a week, it's the 1:30 to ten at night shift.
Speaking of grays. I have harbored new ill-willed feelings towards my hair. Folks, I am only thirty-three Yes! Thirty-three. And already, I have the hair color of a fifty-something. And these stupid, gray strands have finally brought upon me, the death match battle where my coloring it is concerned.
Now even the promise of 100% resistant gray coverage via my bottle of Nice N' Easy (**No commercializing, profiting, advertising is intended**) in one of their Red shades is doing the trick, anymore.
Sadly, my once gray-free hair (before a second marriage and three kids) is being savagely over-ran with those gray "old-people-maker" warriors. And they are, I'm sorry to announce, winning the fight.
But!!!...Yes, there is a 'but' in this whole mess (besides my own butt)...I will not give up the fight for luxurious, gray-free, red (of some shade or another), multi-highlighted (three shade highlight formula coloring) hair. I will (one day) prevail and take a part of my youth back.
Other that all of that, it's been a pretty good week. And I hope that I have given you a few good chuckles to end out your week. Especially if this one has not been the kindest to you.
Until next time... Oh and if you are in to the Paranormal, ghosts, and hauntings, please feel free to also visit me at my NEW blog page, http://paranormel.blogspot.com/. So far, there is only one entry. But, soon to be two, being that after this post is entered, I shall be writing in ParanorMel.
Have a great weekend, everyone!

*COPY* Of My NEWEST letter to the Gov. of Virgina
April 20, 2010
Dear Gov. McDonnell,
Once before, I had written to you personally to ask that you help me, my son, our family and other families like ours in the fight to place Vyvanse back on the Medicaid's list of available options to treat mental disorders (written on Feb. 5th, 2010). I had received a "round about" reply, and to be honest, it hurt me, thinking that maybe you didn't really care as to what your Virginia Citizens had to say.
But, just a moment ago, I had read an article, via the Roanoke Times (http://www.roanoke.com/news/roanoke/wb/243974) that indeed you wish to fight FOR our families, not against us. And for that I do thank you.
I can only hope that you, sir took my words in to consideration as to your decision to fight for medications to help treat mental illnesses and disorders placed on (or back on) to Medicaid's Preferred Drug/Drug Availability/Coverage List.
Now, I am begging, not just asking, Mr. Governor, that you take this fight all the way. Do NOT stop. To stop is to fail. Not only yourself or this state. But you would be failing my son and countless other children that require Drug Therapy to help them lead a more "normal" life outside of their mental illness/disorder/disability.
I'm not scared to go up against "professionals" who feel that withholding services from my son is alright. I would take on the Government if I had to myself. My life has been too much filled with adversity from the start for me to back down now. Not for myself. Not for my children.
Please, Mr. McDonnell, give our children the best chance at a good life. Make it easier for me, and other parents to be able to go to the Pharmacy without having to fight for THREE WEEKS between them and Medicaid just to get our children's medicine. No child should have to go that length of time WITHOUT their medication because insurance decided it is in THEIR best interest to no longer cover that medication in their Drug Coverage Plan for it's consumers.
I've now got a renewed faith in you, Governor McDonnell. Please know that I will back you 100%. But I want to see you do your part. I know that you received much flack from us parents (primarily mothers) for letting Medicaid take advantage and in the end, disadvantage our children. I can only hope that WE were your driving force for going up against Medicaid.
Keep fighting the good fight, Mr. Governor. And thank you, from a mom with a very special little guy.
Sincerely,
Melissa A. Cowart (Lynchburg, Virginia)
